The CK Choose Kindness Foundation awards a $1,000 Firefly Scholarship annually to undergraduate or graduate students who demonstrate a profound understanding of kindness. They do so to pay tribute to Cam Kranich and to raise positive community awareness around mental health - "it's OK to not feel OK".
Eligibility requirements:
- Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher
- Must be a Social Work, Psychology, Graduate Counseling, or an Education major
- If awarded the scholarship, you agree that CK Choose Kindness may list you on their website and/or other marketing materials

Complete the below application, and write a 1000 word essay on the importance of kindness.
